Who we are

John Ziegler, A.K.A. The Master Mechanic, has always had a knack for repair and fixing things since he could breathe. After living with his dad throughout his teenage years and working as a hobby on hundreds of different Chevy Novas, Camaros, Impalas, Bel Airs, and much more, he took to full time work in the automotive industry in 1996, and as a Lube Technician a few years out of high school in 1998 at Reno Toyota. With many years of hard earned experience, he worked his way up to a master technician with over 15 ASE certifications in Advanced Engine Performance (L1), Exhaust Systems (X1), Gasoline & Diesel Engines (T1 & 2), and much more.

John Ziegler wasn’t just a Master Mechanic, as he also had a passion for drag racing, with his most popular car being a black 1962 Chevy Bel Air.

ZHP Garage is the result of John Ziegler and Ryan Ziegler (son; videographer & editor) joining forces, combining over 30 years of professional mechanical work and video skills to create what you enjoy and experience today.
